As every year, the World PI Week is organized worldwide to raise awareness, diagnosis and treatment of PID together. In Africa, some country will also participate to the campaign this year.

Morocco

Hajar association organized a Blood Collect Day for patients on Ig therapy on May 8^th, as well as a party for the patients and their family on April 27^th.

Libya

Staff at Tripoli Children Hospital Celebrate of the World Week of PID. It was two lectures one by Pr El Bousify on A Clinical Approach of A case of PID, second by Prof Amna Alreane on the Libyan Experience of PID. Iit was covered by National TV Channel also was a meeting by TV channel with Pr El Bousify to explain what the status of PID in Libya and How important to support the patient and Families to diagnose and treat their children and how expensive of the diagnosis and the treatment.

Sudan

1. Short talk during the  paediatrics grand round on Wednsday 27/4 at the Sudan Medical Specialization buildings.  It was very successful and coincided with the day when Sudan introduced the bivalent OPV and IPVJB too, presented in the same meeting by one of EMRO representative of WHO. We distributed the press release as well as the editorial in arabic and in english.
2. Annual teaching session on immunodeficiency for the basic medical trainees (before part 1) for different specialities on Sunday 24/4 and introduction of the the WPIW2016.
