As a contribution of Pediatric Allergy and Immunology department of Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt in the celebration and awareness of primary Immune deficiency week 22-29 April 2014, a day's out was held in the Pyramids with the PID patients in collaboration with Rac Nasr city club, The 5 patients and their families enjoyed the outings which was followed by a meal in McDonalds and photos were taken and uploaded on social media website as a part of awareness campaign to PID.

An educational day was held in Pediatric Hospital for medical staff including Pediatricians, residents and hose officers (30 attendees), during which lectures on basic immunology, new classification of PID and the approach to a case of PID  were given  The 10 warning signs were thoroughly explained too.
