Dr Leïla Jeddane is currently working as a Scientific Coordinator in the the Laboratoire National de Référence in Casablanca, a diagnostic laboratory focusing on specialized medical biology. She received her PhD from the Mohammed V University of Rabat,after studying PID epidemiology and Ataxia-telangiectasia mutations in Moroccan patients.

She has been involved in the African Society of Immunodeficiency (ASID) Board since 2011 and is currently the President-Elect. She is also Secretary of the Moroccan Society for Primary Immunodeficiencies and an Associate member of the Laboratory of Inflammation, Clinical Immunology and Allergy (LICIA) in Casablanca.
